I use their Mountain Spring Imperial Light malt extract to make the best American Lager I have ever drank... Even my brother-in-law, the self-professed beer snob loves it!

If they want to sell online they need to update their web site though.
Less fluff but more details like items, prices and shipping charges.

Has anyone tried the home brewing kit from Bierhaus International in Erie,
PA?
I live in PIttsburgh, PA and I've seen ads from them.. but I wonder if the
equipment and supplies are decent. They want like $80 for a starter kit
(fermenter, hand capper, bottle brush, the bucket for bottling, beer
ingredients for a few batches, thermometer, hydrometer, I can't remember
what else.)
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Bierhaus was a great supplier and I never had an issue with ingredients when I lived in Erie. Now that I'm in Pittsburgh I'd sooner go to South Hills Home Brewing in Green Tree or buy online.

One hopes that Steve found a good brew-shop, and has brewed many a tasty
brew in the 22 years since he posted this message. Buying "online" wasn't
much available then either.

Just poking a little fun. These ressurected zombie threads replies always
give me a chuckle.

That made me laugh out loud! All that old preweb stuff is still out there someplace!
