Anyone know what ever happened to Jamie Gordon (brewmaster supreme )
who owned Cave A Vin in Montreal, he also had opened up 2 shops in St.Sauver.

AFAIK, he sold the shops. For many years, he's been a rep for Cask
Brewing Systems out of Calgary, AB and is probably too busy with them
to maintain the shops.

Are you a montreal homebrewer? I'm in the club MontreALErs (im a founding
member even for what thats worth)..a bunch of us used to shop at Gordon's
Cave A Vin..most of us get our stuff now from Vinotheque out on the
transcanada...Choppe a Barrock on st dominique in the plateau..or in group
bulk buys from Gilbertson and Page malting..

Jamie went on to pioneer micro canning and became highly respected in the craft brewing industry across Canada and the US. He passed away last weekend in Denver while on a client service call for Cask Brewing. http://allaboutbeer.com/news/jamie-gordon-cask-passes-away/
