Wort chiller: Snip off all cable ties before use?

Just received this wort chiller and have a rookie question:

https://www.midwestsupplies.com/silver-serpent-stainless-steel-immersion-wort-chiller

I never had such a chiller. Do the cable ties around the coil and the
risers also have to be snipped off before use or kept on to hold them
together? The photo doesn't show any but before going .. snip .. oops, I
shouldn't have do that .. I wanted to ask.

Other question: How do you guys dry the inside after use? I built myself
a fan contraption to dry the inside of racking hoses and such but this
coil contains 280" of pipe, quite long.

I think its fine to leave the zip-ties on. I usually just blow into the end to get the excess water
out of it..

Usually you would want to have the chiller conform to your boil kettle.
I like a little extra coil on top where it is hottest. To do this you
would need to snip the ties.
I think in this case the ties are for shipping.

Yes, I just contacted Midwest to make sure. They said to snip them.

SNIP! Uh Oh! I may have to find a Safe Place! Trigger word! Trigger word!
Ahem! My SWMBO said about the same thing ("Snip them!"), but it didn't have
a thing to do with cooling wort! (rhymed, though-- at least for a few days)

Yes SWMBO is correct, roses need to be cut back in the fall.

:-)

Almost spilled my morning coffee ...

After boiling the sugar water, of course, to bottle an Irish Red.
