I have here a bag of Now Healthy Foods malt extract. It is 90% malt
extract, and 10% maltodextrine.

The maltodextrine keeps the stuff in powder form: no rock malt, in other
words. I am wondering if I can use this stuff in priming my beer for
bottling. Maltodextrine is frequently added to beer to increase body,
though I doubt the amount added when using this stuff for priming would add
much, if any, body.

So, what is the verdict? Should I try it?

I vote yes. Priming with dry malt, IIRC, uses 3/4 cup in
5 gallons.
